Frequently asked questions

QThe app identified my drink incorrectly

Some drink information is generated by AI and may differ from the real product. On the recognition result screen, choose "This is a different drink" to search again by name. If a drink is listed incorrectly in our database, please tell us and we will fix it.

QI can't find my drink — it isn't registered

Type the name on the "Name" tab; under the search results you will find an option to register it as a new drink. Homemade cocktails and home-brewed fruit liqueurs can be registered too.

QI found an inappropriate post or user

Use the "⋯" menu on the post, comment or profile to report it. We review reports and hide content or suspend accounts where necessary. For anything urgent, email us as well.

QI don't want to see a particular user

Use "Block" on their profile. Neither of you will see the other's posts or profile, and any follow relationship is removed.

QHow do I delete a post?

Open the post and choose "Delete this post". Your drink log goes back by one entry. Points and badges you have already earned are kept.

QHow do I delete my account?

"Delete account" at the bottom of your profile page. Your posts and drink log become private, and it cannot be undone. Full details are on the Account & data deletion page.

QCan I use points or ranks for anything?

No. Points, ranks and badges are a status display to make keeping a record enjoyable. They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for anything.

QMy points have stopped going up

There is a daily cap on points. It exists so that the app does not encourage drinking more. The cap resets the next day.

QHow do I change my advertising choices?

In the app, go to Settings → Ad privacy settings. This option appears where a consent choice applies to you, such as in the UK and the EEA. The app serves non-personalised ads only — see the Privacy Policy.

If drinking has stopped feeling like a choice

You don't have to work this out alone

If you feel you cannot control how much you drink, free and confidential help exists. Family members can call these services too — you do not have to be the person drinking.

  • United States — SAMHSA National Helpline, 1-800-662-HELP (4357). Free, confidential, 24/7, in English and Spanish (samhsa.gov).
  • United Kingdom — Drinkline, 0300 123 1110 (weekdays 9am–8pm, weekends 11am–4pm; in Scotland 0800 7314 314). Alcoholics Anonymous 0800 917 7650; Al-Anon, for families, 0800 008 6811 (NHS alcohol support).
  • Australia — National Alcohol and Other Drug Hotline, 1800 250 015, free and 24/7 in most states (health.gov.au).
  • Canada — provincial and territorial helplines are listed by Health Canada at canada.ca.
  • Japan — your local Mental Health and Welfare Centre (精神保健福祉センター) or public health centre (保健所); the All Nippon Sobriety Association (全日本断酒連盟) and AA hold meetings that families can attend.
  • Anywhere — Alcoholics Anonymous has meetings in most countries, many of them online (aa.org).

If someone is in immediate danger — for example unconscious after drinking — call your local emergency number.
