Last updated: 19 August 2026

This page explains how to delete your Drank It! account and the data attached to it, and what happens to each kind of data.

1. Deleting your whole account

From the app (recommended — takes effect immediately)

  1. Open Drank It!
  2. Open My Page, bottom right
  3. Tap "Delete account" at the bottom of the screen
  4. Confirm by choosing "Delete"

This takes effect straight away and cannot be undone.

2. Deleting only part of your data, and keeping the account

To delete anything else, contact support at the address above.

DataWhat happens
Posts (photo, caption, rating, place)Hidden from other users and removed from search
Drink logHidden
Follows and likesHidden

Hidden posts remain in the system in a state where they cannot be traced back to you. If you want them erased completely, tell us and we will do it individually.

Kept for a limited period

DataRetentionWhy
Reports (reason and what we did)180 daysPreventing and investigating repeat abuse
Audit logs (record of administrative actions)180 daysResponding to lawful requests and investigating abuse

Anything past that period is erased. Comments other people left on your posts belong to them and remain.

Deletion cannot be undone

Deleting your account permanently loses your drink log, rank and badges. Registering again with the same email address does not bring any of it back.
